I have been a writer for television since the year 2006. I’ve written for satirical shows Dit was het Nieuws and Klikbeet (in Dutch) and for the BBC World show What’s Up Africa (in English). Since 2017 my main job was being part of the writing team of the award winning weekly show Zondag met Lubach.
2014 was the year that my first television series made its debut: ‘In Den Gulden Draeck’ (‘At the Golden Dragon Inn’), a fantasy sitcom I created and wrote (together with Emilio Guzman, who also starred in it), about a group of adventurers who go on quests, looking for rare treasures. These quests were never featured in the show itself, which only showed… the meetings they had AFTER the quests…
We made two seasons consisting of sixteen episodes. It aired on Dutch public television, but is now available to watch on YouTube.
